The groomer have been out trying to make the best of the snow that we have. Please let us know if you find any issues along the trail.
Our trails are open. Spring conditions. With the warm weather forecast for next week we may have to close them soon. Have fun for the few days that are left of our snow.
Unfortunately our trials remain closed. We are awaiting ride-able snow coverage. Feel free to do the snow dance. It can’t hurt. We will open the trails as soon as we can.
Come join us for the Battenkill Snowdrifters December meeting to be followed by the annual meeting.
Tuesday December 8th at 7:30 pm
At R S Taylor Brewing www.rstaylorbrewing.com
Directions: From the South, we are 2 miles north on Washington County Route 30 from the Bedlam Corners General Store in the hamlet of West Hebron, Washington County, NY. We are on the right hand side just past the intersection of Cross Road and County Route 30. From the North, we are exactly1 mile south of the hamlet of Belcher on the left hand side.
Remember to bring your work hours with you
In case anyone is wondering, we will not have any meetings during the summer . We will meet again in September.
If there are any concerns please let us know and we can have a special meeting.
Unfortunately, we need to closed our trails. We hope that we may be able to reopen them but it looks like that won’t happen. We are very great full for the past few months. Mother nature has surely been good to us. As the season draws near , we are thankful for all the snow we had this season. We would like to thank all the landowners for their generous gift of the use of their land. Please stay off the trails unless we are able to reopen them. We are looking forward to next year.

Due to some inconsiderate people our trail is about to be shut down north of Salem. Thanks!!!!!
DAVE GOT A 45 MINUTE CALL ON SUNDAY BECAUSE TWO SLEDS CAME ACROSS THE FIELD FROM QUARRY ROAD, SO HE PUT UP SIGNS ON QUARRY RD. THIS MORNING HE GOT A 30 MINUTE CALL ABOUT SHUTTING DOWN THE TRAIL BECAUSE SOMEONE MADE A BIG LOOP IN THE FIELD OFF THE PATH. SO HE PUT A 3 FOOT PINK SIGN AT THE TOP OF THE HILL SAYING TRAIL WILL BE SHUT DOWN!! DAVE SPENT HIS LUNCH HOUR PUTTING UP A ROPE TO KEEP SLEDS ON THE TRAIL.
REALLY, LETS RESPECT OUR LANDOWNERS AND ALL THE WORK THAT HAS BEEN PUT INTO THE TRAILS.
IF YOU SAW WHO DID THIS LET US KNOW. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
