Battenkill Snowdrifters

The Battenkill Snowdrifters are located in Salem, NY. We are members of the Washington County Snowmobile Association and the New York State Snowmobile Association.

The Battenkill Snowdrifters are active both on and off the trails. We maintain and groom our local trails and participate in community service projects. Our goal is to promote safe, courteous, and lawful use of snowmobiles.

Our meetings begin at 7:30 pm and take place on the second Tuesday of the month at the Salem Pistol and Rifle Club, located on Black Creek Road, Salem, NY.

Our nearly 50 miles of trails wander through the hills, valleys and farm land of our very scenic portion of Washington County, NY.

A parking area is available at the Cossayuna Lake boat Launch located on West Lake Rd., Cossayuna, NY. This access connects directly onto our trail system.

Our trails are connected to all other Snowmobile trails in Washington County through a series of scenic well marked trails. Our eastern border C9 connects to a trail along the Vermont border, which connects to the Granville Border Riders trails C9. (This section of trail in Vermont does not require a VAST pass. A VAST pass is required to access additional trails in Vermont from there.)
